László Győrbíró Judge
László Győrbíró was born in 1914 in Rákospalota. In 1937 he was promoted to the rank of infantry lieutenant, in 1941 he received a retraining in armour. He took part in the fighting of the 1st Panzer Division in Don, and was subsequently assigned to the 51st Panzer Machine Gun Division's reserve unit. At the end of the siege, he reported to the Soviet headquarters, where he was discharged after interrogation. He then reported to the new Ministry of Defence. In 1948, he was forced to retire as a class nerve agent, after which he worked for a time as a stevedore in Mezőkeresztes, while also learning to be an accountant.
In October 1956, he committed a capital crime by undertaking to deliver 50 hundredweight of wheat to the capital for the "freedom fighters". He was stripped of his rank. There is no record of his later fate.
